Embodied with a creative soul and strategic mind, I am a design thinker who’s journeyed from the canals of Amsterdam to the neon buzz of Tokyo, the historical grandeur of Moscow, and the dynamic skies of Dubai. My education from the Academy of Arts Utrecht and Rietveld Arts Academy is the bedrock of my expertise, complemented by my experiences at the vanguard of advertising with Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R, and DDB, leading to directorial roles at TBWA and MullenLowe.

In 2006, I pioneered “collaborative communications” with 60 layers of cake, challenging the traditional agency model and embracing a collaborative culture steeped in art, fashion, and cuisine. This philosophy has enriched my partnerships across the globe, crafting pitch-perfect, award-winning campaigns for iconic brands.

At PwC’s Experience Center, I’ve melded human-centric design with emerging tech, pushing the boundaries of brand and product innovation. My leadership has transcended borders, reforming creative departments on five continents, earning accolades from Cannes to Kyiv.

A seasoned jury member for prestigious creative festivals, my narrative is one of continuous transformation, bridging cultures and concepts to shape the very fabric of global communication.

Recently I teamed up with WBWR (Webwiser). Africa’s leading e-commerce agency, with client such as Under Armour, Ted Baker, Vans, Birkenstock, Crocs, Giant Bikes, Früt Frozen fruit and a global fashion brand. Together we create digital experiences for the African and European market.

I come from a strongly visually dominated background. With a master in art direction (HKU) and a master in graphical design (Rietveld Academie). Combined with a Hyper Island digital strategy course, and some IDEO training. I consider myself as well educated for the roles I have had, and will have.
